Iran has said it prefers to resume talks with G5 +1 (five permanent members of UN Security plus Germany) over its nuclear program later this month or early November, reported the semi-official ISNA news agency.
"Late October or early November is an appropriate time for negotiations between representatives of Iran and the five permanent members of UN Security over Germany," Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki told a joint press conference with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla in Tehran.
"Both sides are studying the exact date and will be published after it is completed," said Mottaki.
The Ministry spokesman Exteriro Iranian Mehmanparast Ramin, said Tuesday that Iran will support talks with the West leading to the recognition of its nuclear rights.
Western countries have called on Tehran to halt its sensitive nuclear program, but the country has rejected the calls and insists that its nuclear activities are aimed only at civilian targets.
